Flying in the Rain

I've been doing quite a few short flights around Langley.  Mostly a little hop out the practice area to test the autopilot or check on the function of an attitude indicator.  The ceilings have been lower and usually there are scattered rain showers.  A few times I've returned and made a landing in the rain.

While I used to do a lot more of this it has been a while.  Can be a bit intimidating flying right into lower visibility and watching the rain hammer over the windshield.  Once you get used to it though it is just the same as a blue sky day.

I sure will be more confident once the AI issues are sorted though.
