Getting Ready for Churchill

My father and I are flying up to Churchill Manitoba this week.  While it seems like a rather short flight the lonely nature of some of the trip means that if you go down in the bush, there is no way for help to get to you.  Quite a bit of planning is going into this one:
 - careful review of the route
 - update of the survival gear in the aircraft
 - where to buy fuel and stops
