Little Bear Lake

 

Flew up last weekend at 5,500 through thick smoke.  It was particularly bad near Candle.  Was a bit worried about the visibility at the lake strip but it cleared up a bit and once closer to the ground it was much better.

The flight home was a technical challenge.  Although the weather at home was good the lake was raining with a thunderstorm to the south between Candle and Nipawin.  As usual, although the first 30 minutes was rain, turbulence, and scud the weather after getting over the farmland was nice.
