Scott Glacier - Mt. Hooker Icefield

This may be an image of the Stutfield Glacier.  During a trip from Edson to Langley on a very clear day this picture was taken from the left seat.  The aircraft was at 10,500 feet at the time.

The track went directly over the north edge of the field.  This glacier is flowing west by north-west into a bowl.

The GPS can apparently download the track which would provide timed locations.  The time of the photo could then be tracked and an approximate heading line drawn for the view angle.  I haven't managed to find a map that provides the names of the various arms of the ice-field yet.

It could be this is a nameless branch of the Columbia Ice Field flowing into some inaccessible valley.

11 February 2015 Update:  This is the Scott Glacier, with Mt. Hooker in the background.  The co-ordinates of the lake are N52.452 W118.096.  The mountain is right on the continental divide.  This is also the border between British Columbia and Alberta.  Trival to solve actually, if you draw a line on google maps with the distance measuring tool between Edson and Langley, and have a look for green-blue lakes with a few miles of the track.
