Alberta-Reynolds Museum in Wetaskawin (CEX3)
I just dropped into the Alberta-Reynolds Museum in Wetaskiwin last Sunday. Easy trip and well worth your while. Their is a nice place to park behind the air museum hangar at the end of taxiway Charlie. Ring the buzzer and a young person will run out and open the gate for you.
The star of the collection currently on display (and the one I wanted to have a look at) is CF-DCH, a Bellanca Skyrocket bushplane. This is the prototype.
The airport code is CEX3 on the west side of town. Right hand traffic for runway 12.
There is a lot there that is not on display, and there is also a lot more besides aircraft. The website really doesn't do it justice.
