Tachometer

The tachometer has arrived and is installed.  Took the aircraft up for a short flight last evening.  Nice view of towering cumulus over the northern mountains with a clear sky to the south and west.  Everything performed flawlessly.  Nice opportunity to check out the nav lights and beacon as well.

It is interesting how quickly the perspective changes.  I was cleared straight in for final and I was lining up on a highway in the dark again.  Only mis-identified it for a few seconds, but the dim light and bright ground lights do require a definite change in perspective.
