Piper Autocontrol

I have acquired a Piper Autocontrol II from an owner who was upgrading his aircraft.  It is complete and it works!

There is a bit of testing to do but I am hopeful that this will be a useful addition to CF-NZB.  The aircraft carried this as original equipment and I am pretty sure it will simply bolt right on in.

Information is scarce but there are a few files available for service and maintenance.  After constructing a bit of a test bench I am impressed at how effective it is at tracking the heading and the left and right turns - very stable indeed.

I have a non-functional version and I am quite tempted to reverse engineer a schematic for maintenance purposes.  I also wonder what it would take to add a radio coupler?
