I use the A2A Simulations Comanche to fool around with and to get used to flying procedures. It turns out it comes with a Garmin 400 by default with an obsolete database and limited functionality. I am going to have to find something a bit more complex but for now I will be exploring this. If nothing else I am already getting more used to flipping the various knobs and understanding how the user interface works. During my IPC this spring I had no troubling handing the aircraft and flying the approach. It was the knob twiddling that was doing me in.
